Kitchen

We have recently purchased a Brigitte kitchen from Mark Ritchie of MSR Designs, Carnoustie.Mark’s passion and enthusiasm for his work is obvious to any potential customer. On his first visit to our house, within five minutes, Mark had put together a rough sketch of a kitchen plan, designed to meet our needs. Our old kitchen was dated and disjointed, and to be honest had seen better days. During the initial design process, Mark suggested a light and airy colour scheme which would open up the space. He showed us samples of all the available styles and colours, but we went with his professional opinion and we haven’t looked back. The furniture is expertly made and finished, with touches only German ingenuity and attention to detail, can bring to life. Mark kept us fully informed at every stage of the process, and even managed to draft in a professional and reliable plasterer/tiler whose work was of a very high standard. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen, and Mark, I’m glad to say is too. I would not hesitate to recommend MSR Designs to anyone who would like a new kitchen, or indeed furniture made from the beautiful Brigitte range. Kitchen and Utility Room

“MSR Design Services were recommended to us to design and install a new kitchen and utility room. Since our project was a fairly major one, we knew that we would be without essential services for up to two weeks. We were therefore anxious to engage a company who could carry out the work on time, within budget, and keep domestic disruption to a minimum. Rejecting financial incentives from [two national] companies, we decided to go with MSR on the basis that they had a proven track record in project management. We were also able to view completed projects and hear at first hand the satisfaction of other clients.
MSR proprietor Mark Ritchie took personal charge of our entire project from design to completion whilst managing 2 other major contracts. He delivered our new kitchen and utility room on time and to budget and ensured that the major preparatory builder’s work was completed without fuss or incident. In particular we were impressed with the professionalism of the builders, plasterers, plumbers, joiners, electricians and painters engaged by MSR, all of whom were locally based, efficient, polite and turned up on time on the days allocated. The standard of their work was excellent, [and] progressed throughout the project without a hitch. The German units and appliances arrived on time and are of the highest quality. We are so impressed with the Corian work surfaces and sinks. We are also delighted with the new laminate flooring from The Floor Studio, Carnoustie, who were contracted by MSR Design.
